Ask for conditions with every output claim
A daily production number is far more useful when it includes temperature, relative humidity, operating hours, and power consumption. Without those details, it is difficult to compare one result with another.
DIY output can vary even more
Two home builds using different coils, fans, air paths, collection surfaces, and controls may perform differently in the same room. Construction quality and maintenance also affect results.
Measure instead of guessing
Collect water for a known number of hours, measure the volume, record temperature and humidity, and track electricity use. Repeat under several conditions. That gives you a performance range grounded in your own system.
