Water from air is real, but the conditions matter
The atmosphere contains water vapor. Technology can collect some of that moisture as liquid water. The practical questions are how much water can be collected, how much energy it takes, and how the water is made safe for its intended use.

Condensation systems
Refrigeration based systems cool air below its dew point. Moisture condenses on cold surfaces and is directed into a collection path.
Other atmospheric harvesting methods
Some systems use sorbent materials that capture water vapor and release it later. Fog collectors use suspended droplets rather than condensing vapor. These methods have different climate and energy requirements.
For home users
Home scale decisions usually come down to climate, desired daily output, electricity, maintenance, water quality controls, and cost. Those factors matter more than the phrase water from air itself.
